Acknowledgements

First, I need to thank one of my co-workers/friends, Alice Bell, who helped give me a real start in doing some good research by introducing me to the Master Genealogist software, and showing me where I can do research at the Family History Center's and the National Archives.

Next, I'd like to thank the various members of my family who have provided information for me. My mom and my dad have always tried to answer my questions and do some of the research that involves talking to other relatives for me. My Grandma Claire has also spent a good deal of time on the phone with me. Various cousins have also spent time doing some research (for themselves, or for me) and have provided me with valuable information. Thanks!!

This whole project costs money. From registering the domain name ($70 every two years), to having the site hosted on a decent server ($20 per month), to the software purchased ($65 + updates), etc ($100 for a scanner to scan in old photos, $150 for a CD writer to put photos and other data permanently on to CD), etc (fees for old records, for example, each SSDI is $7, access to records online cost $30 and up per year, etc etc), etc - this is not an inexpensive hobby. Therefore, if anyone wants to help out and send me any amount of money to help offset some of my costs, I'd be infinitely greatful and accept any and all contributions.
