Family Tree Data

Please use this page as a starting point for alot of the data I've collected.

I changed the way I'm giving out information. The whole purpose of having the password protected area is that I don't want to give out information about living people to just *anyone*. A lot of people still use their mother's maiden name as a security word (by the way - I don't recommend doing that anymore!) so I want to protect things a wee bit.

However, there is some information that can be easily put out and that info is on this page. If you want access to the full set of data, you still need to email me for the username and password (see bottom of this page).

Conventions used in this information:

  • Every person in the database has an ID #. That is the number in (). It helps so that you know that John Smith (100) is not the same as John Smith (150).
  • (--?--) means that I am missing a name (usually a female's given surname).

This is a list of the information sources that are actually used in the data collection. It gives the list of census records, ship lists, etc that I'm claiming as sources to the information I've collected.

List of Sources (161kB)

I have more than 800 people in the database, but only half or a little mroe than half are actually related to me. This pdf gives that list of people. There are no birth/death dates in this list and it doesn't give out relationships to each other.

*** I have a brand new GEDCOM file. There are over 800 folks in it. I'm calling this one version 5.0 (dated April 2007). Email me if you'd like a copy of it. It can be used with almost any genealogy software.

Ancestor/Descendants/Pedigrees, etc

Well, I've been fooling around with my software generating reports for all to see. Click on the link below to take you to the actual information. All the information I currently have is represented here.

This part of the site is password protected. Email me for the password. It's not that this is the most sensitive info in the world, but since people do use things like their mother's maiden names for security purposes, I just didn't want to make it any easier for any unscrupulous person to get their hands on that data.
*** I've changed the password (September 2005). The one that existed previously does not work anymore. Email me for the latest one.
